Open Question: anti-malware doctor...?

so i've found out that it's a disguised virus and whatnot, and i used my computers security system, mcafee. it scanned everything and detected a bunch of trojans and whatnot that i'm assuming came from the anti-malware doctor. the scan says it deleted each of them.. but does that mean that everything is gone? i still see the anti-malware doctor icon on my desktop, and it still sends me the fake, annoying warnings about my computer's security... what should i do now?...
